Leo White makes a difference! As a porter in the Commissary Kitchen, Leo has worked here for 6 years. His favorite dishes to cook are lasagna or any pasta dishes and he loves to eat healthy. His first job was as a fry cook at Applebee’s. Leo’s favorite place is at home where he watches his favorite shows Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Cops as well as his favorite teams like the New Orleans Saints and New York Knicks. He loves playing basketball and jogging at the park. Leo is always willing to learn new skills and his ideal day is a clear sky on a Sunday! Thank you, Leo, for all of the work you do. It is appreciated!

Danforth Dining Center

Virgil Rawls makes a difference! Virgil has served our students at Dining Services for 15 years. He is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan as well as being interested in all kinds of sports. Virgil’s first job was at Taco Bell but his favorite food in the world is burgers. Virgil is a chill guy, and he always looks forward to seeing and spending time with his son. Thank you, Virgil, for your many years of dedication and service.

Wilson PIT

Lisa James makes a difference! Lisa has been a cashier at Wilson PIT for 3 years. Lisa loves to cook chicken and one of her favorite hobbies is bowling. Lisa’s ideal day would be to binge watch TV! Her kids always put a smile on her face. Thank you, Lisa, for all of the work that you do!

Eastman Dining Center

Sharon Wyatt makes a difference! At Eastman, Sharon is a Cook Helper and has served our students for 20 years! Her favorite food is chicken, and it is also her favorite dish to prepare. When she is at home, Sharon is relaxing by watching Murder She Wrote, while petting and playing with her very friendly Pit puppy, Emarld, Saron’s favorite place is being home or at her church where she likes to sing in the choir. Her first job was working at Yesterday’s Restaurant on Alexander Street. Sharon loves helping others and we see that every day at Eastman. Thank you Sharon!
