Health and Wellness
Campus Dining is committed to supporting the health and wellness of our students by offering diverse, nutritious, and balanced dining options. Our approach focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles, accommodating dietary needs, and fostering community.
Nutritional Balance
- Meals are planned to meet dietary guidelines, incorporating a variety of lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.
- Allergen and nutrition information are clearly labeled to help students make informed choices.
- Daily vegetarian, vegan, and plant-forward meals are available.
Special Dietary Accommodations
- A station with options made without the top 9 allergens and a gluten-free zone are available to students to reduce the risk of cross-contact.
- Staff are trained in food safety and allergen awareness.
- Students with specific dietary restrictions can work with our Registered Dietitian to develop a plan to safely meet their dining needs.
Wellness Initiatives & Nutrition Education
- Health and wellness events are conducted to engage and educate students about healthy eating habits and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
- On-campus events, such as cooking demos, cooking classes, and wellness workshops help students get excited about food and nutrition.
- Educational materials and digital content offer guidance on balanced meals, proper fueling, and healthy habits.

Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
We take pride in providing a variety of safe options for those with food allergies, celiac disease, and other special dietary needs. You can submit documentation to the Office of Disability and meet with our Registered Dietitian to learn more about safe dining options. Campus Dining is committed to preparing recipes accurately, providing nutrition information, and displaying clear signage to promote a safe dining experience.
